Jade Inlaid Kauri Bowl - Flat

A unique lidded bowl carved from the root burr of a Kauri tree, by Waikato based carver Alex Sands. The lid is inlaid with a circle of New Zealand pounamu greenstone. The Kauri used has a lovely sheen, with light playing across the wood in much the same way as tiger's eye.
